Kroenen’s “Sandstorm mask” can only be seen in the sewer scene in Hellboy when he is repairing his mechanical hand.
All of his different masks are spread out on the table before him.
I used a sideshow Kroenen mask replica as a base and went from there.
Funny fact: I was about the first one to replicate this version of his mask. Since there was no mentioning of the name of the mask, I started calling it the “Sandstorm mask” because I thought, Kroenen could have served in Africa during WWII and that would explain the color scheme.
Sure, pure nonsens or fan fiction but to my surprise every other replica was then called “Sandstorm mask”.
