model – The Matrix – Nebuchadnezzar

I loved The Matrix.
And I loved the Nebuchadnezzar

So I was very happy, when Guillermo D. Centeno released his kit of the ship.
As with almost every resin kit, a lot of work had to be done.

From sanding to fitting to filling imperfections.

I built a new Cockpit using PE parts and scratched new cannons as well as a new landing gear.

The clear cast hover pods were already a little yellow when they arrived, so I got new ones from Kostas. He used resin of a higher quality.
The base was fun to do.

The whole ship runs on a single 9V battery.
Today (2023) I would do a lot of things different then back in 2011, but I think the diorama still looks nice.
